NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the schedule for the mop-up round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 for admission to PG medical programmes in state colleges. As per the schedule, the option-entry facility has commenced and eligible candidates can submit their options for Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2024 till January 23, on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The Karnataka NEET PG mop-up round seat allotment result will be announced on January 24, 2025, after 11 am. The final seat allotment will be declared on January 28, 2025.

KEA informed that the list of un-allotted PG medical seats after second round seat allotment and the seats cancelled after the second round are on the KEA website. Newly added seats if any, or the seats which may get cancelled before the mop-up round or seats which may be identified as vacant will also be considered for mop-up round.

Candidates who have not been allotted any clinical seat in the second round are eligible to participate in the mop-up round. Candidates who have been allotted pre and para medical seats can participate in the mop-up round only for clinical seats but not for pre and para medical seats again.

Candidates who have joined the PG medical college after allotment of seats in first round or second round All India counselling including counselling for deemed universities boards and the candidates who have been allotted seats in AIQ mop-up round are not eligible to participate.

Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2024: Instructions for candidates

  • Candidates who have been allotted clinical seats through KEA either in first round (Choice 1 and 2) or in the second round are not eligible to participate in the mop-up round.
  • Candidates who have been allotted PG medical seat through KEA 2024 either in first round or in the second round and cancelled the seat are also not eligible to participate in the mop-up round. Choice-3 candidates of the first round and allotted clinical seats in the second round are also not eligible for the mop-up round.
  • The eligible candidates who have deposited the original documents will be allowed to enter the options.
  • All the eligible candidates have to enter fresh options for this PG medical mop-up round. The options entered, if any, in the previous rounds will not be considered.
  • As the seats will be allotted based on merit and options entered by the candidates, candidates are advised to enter only such options, for which they are interested to join the college. Options can be entered even if the seats are not shown in the seat matrix.
