The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will publish the provisional seat allotment result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 round 2 counselling on December 22 after 6 pm, advancing the date from December 23. Candidates who participated in the Karnataka NEET PG 2025 round 2 counselling can check their provisional seat allotment result on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/.

The final Karnataka NEET PG 2025 round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on December 24 after re-running the allotment process to include seats cancelled by candidates who opt for Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) allotted seats. KEA states that the re-allotment will be carried out using the options already entered by candidates, with no changes permitted.

Candidates who wish to join seats allotted through the second round of MCC counselling will have to surrender their KEA-allotted seats in person at the KEA office in Bengaluru by 4 pm on December 23. Such candidates will have Rs 25,000 deducted from the fee paid, with the remaining amount refunded within one day. Candidates who have not paid the fee will be required to pay Rs 25,000 at the time of surrender.

Karnataka NEET PG 2025 round 3 eligibility revised

KEA also revised the eligibility conditions for participation in the third round of Karnataka NEET PG 2025 counselling following recent High Court orders. As per the revised guidelines, candidates who have been allotted and admitted to seats in the second round will be allowed to participate in the third round for upgradation.

Earlier, candidates allotted clinical seats in the second round were not eligible for third round counselling, as stated in the NEET PG 2025 information bulletin. The authority clarified that candidates allotted seats in the second round should compulsorily complete admission by paying the prescribed fee, irrespective of the seat type.

KEA added that the second round seat allotment schedule and related instructions were earlier notified on December 8, December 13, and revised on December 17, and remain applicable for the ongoing counselling process.
