Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2025 round 3 option entry open till October 13

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has begun the third round of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) seat allotment for medical (MBBS) and dental (BDS) courses. Eligible candidates can exercise the option entry for the Karnataka NEET UG 2025 round 3 counselling through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The last date to exercise the Karnataka NEET UG round 3 option entry 2025 is October 13. As per the official notice, candidates who were not allotted a seat in the first and second rounds, or who cancelled a medical seat by forfeiting the caution deposit, are eligible to participate in this round.

Eligible candidates will have to pay the medical course fee Deposit between October 7 and 13. Candidates who had partially paid the caution deposit in earlier rounds should adjust the balance to complete the required fee.

“Those who have been allotted dental seats in UGNEET 2025 through KEA can participate only for the medical seat allotment but are not eligible to select dental seats in other colleges,” the official notice said.

The KEA further states that candidates allotted a seat in the Karnataka NEET UG 2025 round 3 but later securing a seat under All India Quota, will have to submit a written request within a day to retain the KEA seat.

Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2025: Medical course caution fee

Candidates participating in the Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2025 for MBBS and BDS courses will have to pay the required caution deposit to enter their preferred options. Details of the medical course caution deposit and dental caution deposit are given below.

As per the official notice, candidates are responsible for obtaining original documents from any previously joined institution before taking admission in the newly allotted college. Failure to report or cancel the seat after allotment will result in forfeiture of the Medical Course Fee Deposit and applicable penalties, making candidates ineligible for future medical counselling.
