Check NowNEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024 registration till, June 20. As per the revised dates, the Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee payment window will close on June 21. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 will be held on July 13 and 14. Candidates will be able to register for the Karnataka PGCET 2024 by visiting the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/.

Candidates are required to pay the Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee to complete the registration process. Candidates belonging to the General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories are required to pay Rs 650 as Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee. On the other hand, the Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) is Rs 500.
Karnataka PGCET 2024 eligibility criteria

MBA
Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories). Additionally, candidates seeking a part-time MBA are required to have a minimum of three years of work experience to be eligible for Karnataka PGCET 2024.
MCA
Candidates are required to have a degree in one of the following with a 50% aggregate for the unreserved category and 45% for reserved categories:
- BCA
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
- BSc with Mathematics at the Class 12 or graduation level
- BA with Mathematics at the Class 12 or graduation level
- BCom with Mathematics at the Class 12 or graduation level
Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam pattern
The examination authority has specified that the new syllabus for Karnataka PGCET 2024 will apply to candidates of all streams. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 will be conducted in one shift. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode. The medium of the exam is English. For MBA and MCA candidates, the question paper will feature 100 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 paper will be divided into four sections. The duration of the Karnataka PGCET 2024 is 120 minutes.
