Karnataka Schools will not open on July 1: Suresh Kumar

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka education minister, S Suresh Kumar, on Monday, stated that the schools in the state will not open on July 1, 2020. The education department has asked the opinion of parents about the reopening of schools.

Parents would be able to send their opinions from June 12 to 20, 2020. The suggestions will further be updated on the Student Achievement Tracking System.

The education minister said, “HRD Ministry has hinted that schools can reopen after August 15. Karnataka is in no hurry.”

The minister will conduct a meeting with the officials after June 20 to decide on the reopening of schools. The details related to the reopening of schools will be updated for the reference here.

Earlier, Karnataka Board released the dates for Karnataka SSLC pending exams. The exams are scheduled to be held on will be held from June 25 to July 3, 2020.
