Students should know that KSEAB provides actual marks along with grades. Therefore, the percentage is calculated using marks, not directly from grade points.
To convert Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) Class 10 (SSLC – Secondary School Leaving Certificate) grades into percentage, follow this simple method:
Formula: Percentage=Marks obtained divided by total marks into (multiplied by) 100.
Add the marks obtained in all subjects and divide the total by the maximum marks and mmultiply the result by 100 to get the percentage.
Example: If a student scores 500 out of 625, percentage = (500 ÷ 625) × 100 = 80%.
Karnataka State Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa announced that three students have scored a perfect 625 marks. During a press conference, the minister thanked all teachers for their efforts.
