KARTET 2023 exam begins today; exam guidelines, admit card

NEW DELHI: The Department of School Education, Karnataka will begin the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET 2023) exam today. Candidates appearing for the KARTET exam 2023 can download the KARTET admit card 2023 from the official website, schooleducation.kar.nic.in.

Candidates can download the KARTET admit card 2023 by entering their application number and password through the Karnataka TET portal. Those appearing for the KARTET exam will have to carry their KARTET hall ticket to the exam centre along with a valid government ID such as an Aadhar card, driving license, etc.

The KARTET exam will be conducted in two shifts for paper 1 and paper 2 both having 150 questions of one mark each. The morning shift will begin at 9.30 am till 12 pm while the second shift will start at 2 pm and end at 4.30 pm.

The Department of School Education, Karnataka conducts the KARTET exam for the recruitment of both teachers to upper primary from Classes 6 to 8 and primary from Class 1-5 in different government schools of Karnataka.

Karnataka TET 2023 exam day guidelines

Candidates appearing for the KARTET exam 2023 will have to follow the exam guidelines given below.

• Candidates should reach the exam centre at least one hour before the reporting time.
• Candidates will have to use only a black or blue ballpoint pen to sign and fill out other exam-related information.
• It is mandatory to carry the KARTET admit card 2023 along with a valid photo ID. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre without the KARTET hall ticket.
• Electronic gadgets like calculators, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, etc., are not allowed in the examination hall.
