NEW DELHI, JULY 20: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the result of the first round seat allotment of KCET 2018. The candidates will be able to check their allotment status after submitting their CET number. After the allotment, the candidates will have to select their choice of either accepting their allotted seat and paying the required admission fee or applying for upgradation in the next round.

How to check seat allotment?

The candidates can follow the given steps to check the seat allotment status:

  • The link to check the seat allotment status is available in the official KEA website.

  • The candidates will have to enter their CET number

  • Click on Submit

  • The allotment status will be displayed on the screen for the candidates.

What after allotment?

After the allotment process, the candidates will have to select their preferred choice. Four choices will be provided to the allotted candidates:

Choice I – If the candidate is happy with his/her allotted seat then he/she will have to pay the tuition fee in either online mode or through challan to confirm their admission

Choice II – If the candidates are satisfied with their allotted seat but also want to participate in the next round of counselling

Choice III – If the candidate is not satisfied with the allotment and wishes to participate in the next round with same entered options.

Choice IV – If the candidate wants to withdraw their allotted seats.

For those candidates who freeze their seats, they will have to pay the fee and download the admission order from July 20 to 23, 2018. The last date for reporting to the allotted colleges is July 23, 2018. Those candidates who are opting to participate in the second round of counselling in spite of being allotted are not required to pay fee or report to the allotted institute.
