KCET 2019 date announced; Exam may go online

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 12- Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the dates for KCET 2019. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) 2019 will be held on April 23 and 24 in two shifts (10:30 am – 11:50 am and 02:30 pm – 03:50 pm). The Kannada language test will be held on April 25, 2019, in Bangalore only. No other dates and information related to entrance examination have been announced by the authorities.

Earlier, KEA has announced that KCET, from 2019 onwards may be conducted in online mode only which was till last year conducted in offline mode. However, authorities have not yet released any official notification regarding same.

Schedule of KCET 2019

Candidates will be able to apply for the entrance examination tentatively from the first week of February. KEA conducts KCET to screen the candidates for the admissions into the participating engineering colleges of the state. Entrance examination will be conducted for two papers – Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics & Chemistry).
