NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will be conducting KCET 2020 on July 30 and 31. The authorities have already released the KCET 2020 admit card on July 17 and Karnataka deputy chief minister and minister for higher education, Ashwathnarayan CN has also confirmed that the exam will be held as per schedule. KCET 2020 will be conducted as an offline exam and candidates can download their admit cards till July 28.
KCET 2020 exam will be conducted for three papers- Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Each paper will be of 1.20 hours and will have 60 multiple-choice questions. KCET 2020 Mathematics paper will be conducted on July 30 from 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm. Physics paper will be conducted on July 31 from 10.30 am to 11.50 am while the Chemistry paper will be 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm.
KEA has allowed COVID-19 patients to appear for KCET 2020 but they will have to register online at the KEA portal and follow all the guidelines issued by the authorities.
Instructions for COVID-19 patients willing to appear for KCET 2020
COVID-19 patients who are willing to appear for KCET 2020 must register at KEA portal and inform the concerned DDPUs of their Districts so that proper arrangements can be done.
Such candidates should produce a medical certificate from their treating physician stating that they are fit to write the exam.
Such candidates shall be transported to the exclusively designated exam centres through ambulances.
Candidates should wear face masks and hand gloves all the time.
Candidates should carry hand sanitizer with them and use it whenever required.
KCET 2020 Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates should reach the exam centres before the reporting time.
Candidates must carry their KCET 2020 admit card, a valid photo Id proof and blue/black ballpoint pen to the exam centres.
A valid photo Id proof can be a Driving license/Passport/Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Voter ID/2nd PUC or Class 12 admission ticket.
Candidates must wear face masks and gloves.
Candidates are not allowed to carry any electronic gadgets like mobile phones, calculators to the exam centres.
