NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the last date of KCET 2021 options entry till November 11 (8.00 pm). Earlier, the KCET options entry 2021 last date was November 9. All eligible candidates will have to visit the official website - kea.kar.nic.in in order to complete the options entry under KCET 2021 counselling.

Candidates can fill as many preferred choices of course and colleges as possible during the KCET 2021 options entry. The steps involved in KCET web options entry 2021 can be checked below.

Steps for KCET 2021 options entry

  • Visit kea.kar.nic.in.

  • Click on the “UGCET 2021” link.

  • Click on the “KCET options entry 2021” link.

  • Enter CET number and security code.

  • Click on the “Submit” button.

  • Fill preferred choices of course and colleges.

  • Lock the choices.

  • Submit the options entry form.

Candidates can also check the draft KCET 2021 seat matrix through the official website in order to take help during KCET 2021 options entry. After the completion of KCET options entry 2021, the authorities will first release a mock KCET 2021 seat allotment. Candidates will be provided with an option to reorder/delete/add their choices after the KCET mock allotment 2021.

Based on the final options saved by the candidates after mock seat allotment, the authorities will declare the round 1 KCET seat allotment. The authorities have not announced the seat allotment dates yet, it is expected to be notified soon.

KCET 2021 options entry was started on November 2. The document verification of candidates was done as per a rank-wise schedule from September 20 to October 28 and for extended period on October 29, 30 and November 2.
