KCET 2021 registration to start from June 15; Exam to be held on August 28, 29

NEW DELHI: Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka CN Ashwath Narayan has announced that KCET registration 2021 will start from June 15, according to a ANI report. Eligible and interested candidates will be able to fill the KCET application form 2021 on the official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The last date of KCET 2021 application will be notified later.

KCET 2021 exam will be conducted on August 28 and 29, as per the schedule announced earlier. However, the Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates will be conducted on August 30.

According to The New Minute report, the Karnataka government is reviewing options on considering only KCET and NEET scores for admission to professional courses. However, The Indian Express quoted the deputy CM as saying that the government is also planning to conduct CET exams for students seeking admission to science undergraduate degree programmes.

The process of filling KCET 2021 application form includes steps of registration, filling the Karnataka CET form, uploading of documents, fee payment and submission.

Steps to fill KCET application form 2021

KCET registration- Candidates will have to first complete the registration process by entering details like nationality, name, date of birth, email id, mobile number along with creating a password. After successful KCET 2021 registration, candidates will receive their application number on the registered email id.

Filling in KCET form- Candidates have to enter all the required details of the Karnataka CET 2021 form like personal, communication and education details. Candidates also have to enter details related to previous attempts of KCET, if applicable.

Document uploading- Next, candidates have to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature, left thumb impression along with their parent’s signature or left thumb impression as per the specifications provided by the authorities.

Fee payment- After uploading documents, candidates have to pay the application fee of KCET 2021.

Submission of CET form- Finally, candidates have to submit their CET application form 2021 after checking all the details.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts KCET for admission into Engineering, B. Pharm, and Farm Science courses in Government/ University/ Private Aided/Private un-aided institutions in Karnataka.
