Download NowNEW DELHI : The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has delayed Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2022 option entry. According to the KCET 2022 counselling schedule, KCET 2022 option entry was scheduled to start from October 11, 2 pm and conclude on October 13. However, the link has not been updated yet on the official website – kea.kar.nic.in.

“The documents of the candidates who have attended verification in KEA on 07-10-2022, 08-10-2022 and 11-10-2022 is under verification. Shall be announced on 14-10-2022. Executive Director,” reads the latest update on the official website of KEA.

Earlier, KCET 2022 web options entry was supposed to begin on October 7. KEA revised the counselling schedule and announced that options entry will start from October 11.
The authority had also informed that few candidates who failed to submit the valid study certificate, Kannada medium study certificate counter signed by the concerned BEO and other original certificates can appear for document verification with all the necessary original documents on October 11. Moreover, candidates who had not verified the documents till date were also asked to attend the document verification on October 11 with all the necessary documents.
Students appearing for KCET 2022 counselling took to Twitter to share their disappointment over the delay.
A student asked state education minister C N Ashwathnarayan to look into the matter and tweeted, “Sir please send the correct timing of the option entry link and all the links of kcet at kea website..We have been waiting since 2'o clock and still it's not being given . .. please see through this matter sir.”

A candidate expressed anger over reports of KCET counselling 2022 schedule to be revised again and said in a tweet, “And this schedule will be followed by another round 1 schedule, then another, then another and so on.”
