NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will start the document verification round of KCET 2023 counselling process from tomorrow, June 27. The KCET 2022 document verification will continue till July 15. Candidates who have qualified KCET 2023 will have to submit certain documents in the verification round as part of the admission process. The document verification round of KCET 2023 will be held in three sessions -- forenoon session 1 and 2 and one afternoon session.

To get the KCET 2023 documents verified for admission to the state’s colleges, candidates will be required to visit the specified centres. Documents including KCET 2023 application form, KCET 2023 hall ticket, Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 mark sheet and income certificates will be required for verification.

KCET 2023 Documents Required

1. UGCET 2023 admission ticket

2. Final print-out of UGCET 2023 application form

3. SSLC, or Class 10, marks card

4. 2nd PUC, or Class 12, marks card

5. Candidates study certificate obtained from the head of the institution which should be countersigned by concerned block educational officer (BEO) or DDPU (7 years of study in Karnataka including 10th or 12th)

6. If claimed rural quota: Rural Study Certificate from Class 1 to Class 10 for 10 complete years and should be countersigned by BEO. Further, a statement on Karnataka UGCET 2023 website said, general merit students should also produce NCLC obtained from the concerned Tahsildar

7. If claimed Kannada Medium quota: Kannada medium study certificate from Class 1 to 10 for 10 complete years and countersigned by BEA

8. If claimed reservation benefits: Caste/ caste income certificate issued by concerned tehsildar.
