NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has commenced the registration for architecture courses based on NATA 2024 scores. In a relief to aspirants, the Council of Architecture has relaxed Class 12 eligibility criteria for architecture admissions from the academic session 2024-25 as per which students with 45% marks in second PUC exam or equivalent are eligible to apply.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2024 qualified students, as per the revised eligibility criteria, can apply online for admissions through KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The last day to register is July 13 up to 11 am. Applicants can pay registration fee till 2 pm.

KEA informed that candidates who qualified the exam but didn’t submit the scorecard can submit NATA 2024 scorecard copy along with KCET 2024 admission ticket, registration form, and Class 12 or second PUC marks card by July 15.

KCET 2024: Architecture admission eligibility

For architecture admissions, the existing and revised eligibility criteria are given below.

No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless he or she has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved categories) or passed 10+3 diploma exam with mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless he or she has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either chemistry or biology or technical vocational subject or computer science or information technology or informatics practices or engineering graphics or business studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 diploma examination with mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

“In view of the relaxed eligibility criteria, the candidates who have passed 2nd PU / 12th Standard examination WITH 45% as per the relaxed eligibility criteria (40% for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, other Backward Classes and person with disability of mental retardation or mental illness (including Dyslexia)) will be considered for assignment of ranks for Architecture course,” the exam authority stated.

KEA added that no further extension of time will be given to aspirants in this regard and asked applicants to submit the NATA score card before the deadline.
