KCET 2026 application fee payment deadline extended to March 7; pay at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the last date for submission of application fee payment for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2026) for admission to engineering, architecture, and pharmacy courses to March 7. Candidates who have already registered can pay the KCET application form fee on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The KCET application fee is Rs 500 for General category candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST candidates. Candidates who studied outside Karnataka are required to pay Rs 750, while candidates applying from outside India will have to pay Rs 5,000.

As per the schedule, the KCET Kannada language exam will be held on April 22, 2026. The main KCET exams for physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics will be conducted on April 23 and 24, 2026.

KCET Application Form 2026: Fee payment

The exam will be held in offline pen-and-paper mode at centres in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru districts.

Earlier, the KCET application fee payment window was supposed to close on March 3, 2026, but KEA may have extended it due to festivals and board exams to reduce stress for candidates.

The KCET 2026 registration process closed on February 27. Only candidates who registered during this period are eligible to pay the fee now.

The KCET application form correction window is open, and candidates can edit their submitted application form until March 30, 2026. During the correction process, candidates can modify details such as personal information, academic details, and course selection.
