Download NowThe Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has begun the choice entry and fee payment process for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 engineering counselling. Candidates listed in the KCET round 1 final allotment list can complete the choice entry process and download their confirmation slip through the official website at kea.kar.nic.in.

Candidates are required to log in using their CET number and password to exercise the KCET 2025 choice entry process. After logging in, candidates should review the seat allotted, category, college and course details. Any discrepancy in the allotment details should be reported to the KEA through the designated helpdesk.
KEA has given four options, including choice 1 to confirm and join the allotted seat, choice 2 to retain the seat and wait for upgradation, choice 3 to reject the seat and participate in further rounds, and choice 4 to exit counselling. Only candidates opting for choice 1 or choice 2 can pay the fee and download the KCET admission order.

KCET Counselling 2025: Choice entry till August 6
The last date to complete the choice entry and pay the prescribed fees is August 6, 2025. Candidates who opt for choice 1 will have to download the confirmation slip and report to the allotted institute with all original documents and the KEA admission order to confirm their seat.
KEA has clarified that those opting for choice 2 or choice 3 will be considered for the second round of seat allotment. The KCET round 2 counselling 2025 will be conducted based on the availability of seats remaining after the completion of admissions under the first round. The official schedule for Round 2 will be announced separately on the KEA website.
The KCET 2025 round 1 seat allotment result was declared on August 2. Candidates can check the KCET final allotment result by entering their CET number and date of birth through the official website. “KEA shall not be responsible for any action / consequence/s resulting due to non-diligent follow up of notices, notifications and publications appearing on the KEA website about seat allotment,” the official website said.
