The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the schedule for UG NEET 2026 first round and UGCET second round seat allotment results. Eligible candidates can modify, add, delete or re-order their web options from 7 pm on August 7 to 9 am on August 13.

According to the schedule, the authority will issue the seat matrix for medical and dental courses on August 7, along with the matrix for engineering, farm science, veterinary, and other UGCET programmes.

KCET 2026 UG admissions also include choice 3, 4, forfeited, cancelled, and newly added categories, if any, the notification read.

Candidates seeking admission to medical, dental, and pharmacy courses, can apply for choice filling after downloading their verification slip during the option entry window.

UGCET, UG NEET 2026 counselling schedule out

Moreover, the provisional seat allotment result for the UGCET 2026 second round and UG NEET 2026 first round will be declared on August 19 after 10 am.

Those who wish to surrender their seat allotted in round 1 under choice 1 or 2 must do so in person at the KEA officer in Bengaluru by 11 am on August 13, the notice read.

Applicants looking forward to securing engineering, architecture, agriculture sciences, veterinary, pharmacy, BSc nursing, yoga, and naturopathy, BPT, BPO, and allied health sciences, will have only choice 1 and 4 after the second round allotment results.

The Karnataka authority has clarified that choice 2 and 3 will not be available for UG CET courses in the second round.

Those selecting choice 1, paying the prescribed fee, and reporting to the allotted college will remain eligible to participate in the third round of seat allotment, subject to the counselling agreement and applicable conditions.

Whereas, for UG NEET 2026, candidates will have all four choice options available since it is the first round of medical counselling.
