KEA begins Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2024 registration after lowering of cut-off

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has commenced the registration for the stray vacancy round 2 of the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 following the reduction of NEET PG cut-off 2024. Eligible and interested students can apply for Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2024 on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

“NBEMS, New Delhi, in its notice dated 25-02-2025 has further reduced qualifying criteria to "5th Percentile" for all categories of candidates for admission to PG Medical courses. Please note that SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Kamataka SC/ST/OBC candidates only, Interested and eligible candidates can register, apply online and pay the fees to become eligible to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round-2 along with other eligible candidates for the available seats only (seats available is hosted on the KEA Website - Keep visiting Website for updates),” said KEA in an official notice.

Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2024 schedule

The detailed schedule for Karnataka NEET PG 2024 counselling stray vacancy round 2 is given below.

KEA issued the following instructions for candidates participating in the counselling process:

• PG medical candidates who were eligible earlier but did not register can also register, complete the application process and appear for verification and deposition of original documents.
• The academic eligibility criteria as laid down in NEET PG 2024 information bulletin and other conditions are hosted on the KEA website for the information of the candidates. Original documents to be produced for verification are detailed in the information bulletin.
• Candidates should ensure that they are having all the original documents and carrying the same with them for verification and deposition at KEA, Bangalore.
• All originals and two sets of photocopies to be produced along with final print of the application form, NEET PG 2024 scorecard, identity card, annexure.
• Documents will not be verified for the candidates who fail to produce all the mandatory or required original documents as per their eligibility and they will not be eligible to participate in the stray vacancy round.
• Candidates should come personally for verification and no one can represent them.
