NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the schedule for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 for admissions to engineering, yoga and naturopathy, BPharm and Pharma-D, agricultural science courses, veterinary science, and BSc (Nursing) professional courses. The KCET 2025 registration will commence on January 23, 2025 on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

“Candidates must register online for CET 2025, fill out the online application form, and pay the application fee to be considered for admission to these courses. Unlike previous years, students are not required to upload any documents online during the application process,” said KEA in the latest notification.

KEA informed that for candidates from outside Karnataka (Horanadu) and border districts (Gadinadu) applying under the Kannada language quota, a Kannada language test will be held on April 18, 2025 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. The language test will be at a Class 4 level, carrying 50 marks, conducted at district centres in Bengaluru, Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Mangaluru.

KCET 2025 Registration: Instructions for candidates

KEA issued the following guidelines for KCET 2025 aspirants regarding KCET application form 2025:

  • During login, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for verification. Candidates must provide their own mobile numbers as each mobile number can be linked to only one application. Mobile numbers cannot be changed at any stage of the process.
  • Caste, caste-income certificates entered in the online application will be used to determine reservation details.
  • Academic details of the candidates will be retrieved using the SATS (Student Achievement Tracking System) number via web services.
  • Candidates can download a Claims Certificate after application submission. If “Successfully Verified” is mentioned on the certificate, candidates will not need to visit any office or college for document verification.
  • After the CET results, a verification slip will be available for download.
  • If the Claims Certificate mentions "Claimed Verified," "Claimed Not Verified," or "Not Claimed," candidates must submit a copy of their filled application form along with original documents supporting their claims to the principal of the college where they are studying in Class 12/2nd PUC. A set of copies of these documents must also be submitted along with the Claims Certificate. The college authorities will verify and approve the candidate's details after reviewing the documents.
  • Candidates will receive SMS notifications at each stage of the process.
  • The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has provided login access to all PUC colleges in the state to verify the applications submitted by candidates. The software for verification is ready, and candidates are not required to visit the BEO office for verification.
  • Candidates applying under special categories such as NCC, sports, defence, ex-defence, CAPF, ex-CAPF, scouts and guides, and Anglo-Indian reservation must submit relevant certificates in person at KEA. Specific dates for document submission will be announced after the exam.
