NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) released the Karnataka Common Entrance Test(KCET) 2023 counselling brochure. Candidates can access the KCET brochure through the official website, kea.kar.nic.in. However, the KCET counselling dates 2023 are yet to be announced by the exam authority.

Candidates who have qualified the KCET 2023 exam are eligible for KCET counselling 2023 registration. The counselling process comprises document verification, choice filling, KCET option entry, seat allotment and reporting to the respective institutes.

During KCET counselling, candidates are required to select their preferred institutes and courses. The seat allotment process is based on the choices made by the candidates and their respective ranks.

KCET Counselling 2023 Registration and Procedure

The KCET counselling 2023 follows a step-wise procedure to facilitate the seat allocation process. Here is an overview of the steps involved:

  • Registration: Candidates need to register themselves for KCET counselling by providing their personal and academic details. Candidates will receive a unique login ID and password.
  • Document Verification: Candidates must visit the designated document verification centre with the required original documents and their photocopies. The documents will be verified and candidates will receive a verification slip.
  • Option Entry: After document verification, candidates can log in to the official KCET counselling website and enter their preferred choices of colleges and courses. Candidates can prioritize their options based on their preferences.
  • Seat Allotment: The seat allotment process is conducted based on the choices filled by the candidates, the ranks and the availability of seats. The allotment result will be published on the official website.
  • Confirmation of Seat: Candidates who are allotted a seat must confirm their acceptance by paying the prescribed admission fee and reporting to the allotted institute within the specified timeframe.
  • Reporting to Allotted Institute: Candidates need to report to the allotted institute with the necessary documents and complete the admission formalities as per the institute's guidelines.
