KEA UGCET-UGNEET 2026 round 1 final seat allotment result out; choice selection till September 2

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the round 1 final seat allotment results on the official website of KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/. This result is for applicants who are seeking admission to medical and dental courses.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in this round will be given all four choices i.e., choice-1, choice-2, choice-3, and choice-4. The selection portal was opened today, August 28, 2026 at 4 pm.

The official notice reads, “For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counseling, all participating institutes colleges are directed to treat all Saturday and Sundays and Gazetted Holidays as working days.”

How to access the choice selection portal?

To access the choice selection portal, follow the steps given below:

• Visit the Karnataka Examinations Authority website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/
• On the homepage, click on the ‘admission/ugcet’ link
• Enter the details such as CET number and date of birth
• Choose the preferred option (choice 1, 2, 3, or 4) and submit
• Download the confirmation slip or challan (if accept the seat)
• Take a printout of the same for further reference

Applicants seeking seat upgradation can opt for choice 2, while those who do not wish to retain the allotted seat can choose choice-3 to participate in the next round. Aspirants who want to withdraw from the counselling process may select choice-4.
