NEW DELHI: The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala is going to conduct the KEAM 2020 entrance examination today on July 16. The exam shall be conducted for paper 1 of Physics and Chemistry from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and from 2:30 pm to 5 pm for paper 2 of Mathematics. KEAM 2020 exam shall be conducted in offline mode through OMR response sheets for both the papers. The authorities have also made announcements for the candidates appearing for the entrance exam to take all sorts of preventive measures. Candidates will have to take note of certain things for appearing in KEAM exam in this session as provided below:

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • It is mandatory for candidates to wear masks while appearing for the KEAM 2020 exam in view of preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19.

  • Candidates will have to mandatorily carry the print out of the KEAM admit card for the purpose of identification.

  • They will have to carry a ball point pen (blue or black ink).

  • No other document or electronic gadget is allowed to be carried by the candidates in the examination hall.

  • Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall for the first 30 minutes of the examination and will not be allowed to leave before the exam is concluded.

  • In the examination hall, candidates have to match the version code of the question booklet provided with that of KEAM 2020 admit card.

As the exam is being conducted amid the coronavirus pandemic, candidates are advised to take all the necessary measures so that there is no risk for them or the people around them. As announced by the authorities, the examination centres shall be disinfected before and after the KEAM exam is conducted. The state Chief Minister also announced that “Kerala now in the third phase of Covid outbreak and more caution is needed”.
