NEW DELHI: The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala has postponed KEAM 2020 entrance examination due to covid-19 pandemic. The exam was scheduled on April 20 and 21 across various test cities of the country.
“Due to the Covid-19 epidemic and the lockdown, Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical entrance examination (KEAM) scheduled to be held on 20th and 21st April, 2020 has been postponed and new dates will be announced later," said a statement released by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala.
The KEAM exam is held for admission to various professional degree courses in disciplines of engineering, architecture and medical. Keeping in view of the current situation due to coronavirus, the exam cannot be conducted as students cannot travel because of the nation wide lockdown.

The higher education department of Kerala also issued a notice stating “In view of the nation wide lock down imposed to check the widespread outbreak of 'COVID-19' pandemic the examination cannot be conducted as per the scheduled date. In the above circumstances , Government here by postpone the KEAM - 2020 examination scheduled to be conducted on 20.04.2020 and 21.04.2020 to another date which will be decided later,"
