KEAM 2026 tomorrow; things to carry, guidelines

The Kerala Engineering, Pharmacy Entrance Examination (KEAM 2026) will be conducted from tomorrow, April 17, in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam will be held in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. It is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, for admission to BTech, BPharm, and other medical-allied courses.

Candidates appearing for the KEAM exam tomorrow must carry a printed admit card and a valid photo ID. Acceptable IDs include Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, or driving licence with a photo. Candidates with disabilities should also carry an original and attested PwD certificate.

Candidates should reach the examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on their KEAM 2026 admit card. Entry will include security checks and document verification.

KEAM 2026: Exam-day guidelines

Candidates appearing for KEAM 2026 should follow the exam-day instructions provided below.

• Reach the exam centre before the reporting time on your KEAM admit card.
• Complete security, biometric, and document verification before entering the hall.
• Follow all instructions given by the exam centre staff.
• Do not carry prohibited items like mobile phones, smart watches, electronic gadgets, stationery, bags, wallets, or food.
• Wear simple clothes for easy security checks.
• Finish attendance and verification before starting the KEAM exam.
• Stay in the exam hall until the exam ends.
• Submit all rough sheets and materials given by the centre staff.

KEAM Exam 2026: What to carry?

Candidates can bring the following documents to the KEAM 2026 exam centre.

• Printed copy of the KEAM admit card downloaded from the official website.
• One valid photo identity proof, such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, passport, or driving licence.
• One passport-size photograph, preferably the same as uploaded in the KEAM application form.
• PwD certificate issued by a competent authority, if applicable.
• Transparent ballpoint pen, if permitted as per the KEAM admit card instructions.

The KEAM 2026 entrance exam is a 3-hour computer-based test (CBT) with 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying a total of 600 marks. It includes 75 questions from Mathematics, 45 from Physics, and 30 from Chemistry.

As per the KEAM marking scheme, 4 marks are awarded for each correct answer, and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
