The KEAM seat allotment will be based on the merit list, the choices filled by the candidates, and seat availability.

Students who qualified KEAM 2025 exam will be eligible for the KEAM counselling 2025. The authority will conduct the KEAM counselling in July 2025. The KEAM counselling process will include registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the institutes.

• Candidate with a higher standardized marks in physics of the final year of the qualifying examination will be ranked first
• Candidate with correct higher number of responses in mathematics will be considered
• Candidate with correct higher number of responses in phyiscs will be considered
• Candidate older in age will be placed first

KEAM 2025 question paper for engineering exams had 75 questions in mathematics, 45 in physics, and 30 in chemistry. The total marks for KEAM is 600. Candidates can follow the steps given below to calculate their KEAM scores.

Candidates seeking MBBS, BDS admission in Kerala government medical colleges should have qualified the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG 2025) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Only those candidates who qualify in NEET-UG 2025 and fulfill the eligibility criteria, and nativity conditions will be considered for MBBS, BDS, and other medical allied courses.

According to the academic eligibility criteria for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Kerala medical colleges, candidates should have passed Class 12 with physics, chemistry, biology or biotechnology, and English. Students should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in PCB taken together.

KEAM 2025 rank will be accepted by Kerala medical colleges to offer MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS and BUMS courses. Candidates seeking admission to professional courses in Kerala, will broadly be classified into three categories - Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) and Non-Keralite Category II (NK II). 

Keralite: All Kerala origin students will be considered Keralite. As per the government order in 2008, children of All India Service (AIS) officers (Non-Keralites) allotted to Kerala cadre are deemed to be ‘Keralites’, however, they will not be eligible for communal, special, Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession. 

Non-Keralite Category I (NK I): A candidate who is not of Kerala origin, but has undergone qualifying course in Kerala and are children of non-Keralite parents belonging to Government of India or defence service, posted to Kerala for a minimum period of two years. Students who have studies for a period of 5 years within the period of 12 years of students, ie from Class 8 to 12.

Non-Keralite Category II [NK II]: Candidates who do not come under ‘Keralite’ or 'Non-Keralite Category I' will be categorised as ‘Non-Keralite Category II'.

The KEAM final answer key 2025 was issued on May 9. Students were allowed to download the answer key through the KEAM candidate portal 2025 at cee.kerala.gov.in. Notably, answers of nine questions were modified and 24 questions were deleted. 

The CEE Kerala has deleted a total of 24 questions from the KEAM final answer key 2025.
