Kerala MBBS registration 2019 first phase started; check the steps to apply online

NEW DELHI, February 19 : Commissioner of Entrance Exam (CEE), the body responsible for conducting Kerala MBBS admissions, has started the first phase of online application form on February 3 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the state of Kerala. The candidates will be able to fill the application form till February 28 up to 5:00 PM. Relevant supporting documents have to be uploaded by the candidates along with the application form, which can be uploaded till March 31. However, the notice released by the authority specifies that the nativity certificate and birth certificate has to be uploaded till February 28. Unlike last year, the candidates do not need to send the physical copy of the online application and the relevant documents to the office of CEE.

Steps to fill the application form

  • Step one - Registration: Click on the link Kerala MBBS application form 2019 to fill the application form. After clicking on the link, candidates will be redirected to the declaration page. Click on the ‘Proceed for Registration’ button. On the registration page, fill the fields like applicant’s name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, choose a password, and copy the access code as displayed on the screen. Click on ‘Register’.

  • Step two - Fill the application form: Candidates need to fill the important information in the application form like the preferred course, communication and address details, academic details, communal reservation, PwD quota (if applicable) etc. Candidates, after filling the information are required to sign the declaration and confirm if the details filled are correct. You can also edit the application form at this point in case of errors.

  • Step three- Fee Payment: The application fee is INR 500/- for general category candidates and INR 200/- for SC category candidates. ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The fee can be via offline or online mode i.e. Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/e challan. A confirmation page will appear on the screen in case of successful submission of application fee. The payment tab on the portal will turn green.

  • Step four- Upload documents: Candidates need to upload documents i.e. photograph, signature and left-thumb impression as per the specifications given by the authority. After uploading all the documents, sign the declaration and click on the ‘Upload Images’ button.

  • Step five - Print the application form :  After successfully submitting the application form, candidates must take a print of the application form for future references.

The authority has already released a notice on November 19, specifying that admission to MBBS, BDS and allied courses will be taken on the basis of NEET scores and the corresponding rank. The authority will open the online facility after the conclusion of NEET 2019 which is scheduled to be conducted on May 5. CEE will give admission to 85% state quota MBBS and BDS seats in government and all the seats in self-financing/private medical and dental colleges in Kerala, through a centralized counselling conducted in three phases.
