Kerala Plus Two SAY exam 2025 date sheet out; practicals on June 4, 5, eligibility, application fee

The Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, will conduct the Kerala Plus Two higher secondary SAY, improvement exam 2025 from June 23 to June 27. Eligible students who want to improve their marks can register for the Kerala Class 12 SAY exam 2025 without late fee by June 27.

Students can get Kerala Plus Two SAY exam application forms from the schools where they registered for the March 2025 exam. Completed forms, with a principal-attested passport photo, should be submitted to the same school. Principals will register students online via iExaMS and provide admission tickets at least three days before the exam. The SAY exam will take place in selected higher secondary schools across Kerala, all schools in Lakshadweep, and one selected school in the Gulf region. The Kerala Plus Two result 2025 has been announced. The overall pass percentage in the Kerala Plus Two results 2025 is 77.81%.

Kerala Plus Two SAY Exam 2025: Eligibility criteria

As per the official notice, students who registered for the Kerala Plus Two exam in March 2025 but did not achieve eligibility for higher studies can appear for this SAY examination by registering for the subjects in which they scored below a D+ grade. Regular students who passed all subjects with a D+ grade or above in March 2025 may appear for improvement in one subject only. Private compartmental candidates are not eligible for the improvement exam.

Students taking the Biology exam will have to appear for both Botany and Zoology papers. Those who did not register for the March 2025 exam cannot register for the SAY/Improvement Examination 2025. The Kerala Plus Two practical SAY exams will be conducted on June 4, 5 in selected centres. “Candidates who have appeared for the Practical Examination conducted in January/February 2025 need not re-appear for the same in this SAY/Improvement Examination,” the official notice said.

Kerala Class 12 SAY Exam 2025: Application fee

For the Kerala Plus Two SAY, improvement exam 2025, the application fee is Rs 150 per subject for SAY exams without practicals and Rs 175 per subject for those with practicals. Improvement exam candidates will have to pay Rs 500 per subject. Candidates will also have to pay an additional fee of Rs 40 for the certificate.

As per the official schedule, the last date for remittance of the exam fee at the treasury by principals of the parent school is May 28. Applications can be submitted with a fine of Rs 600 till May 29, and the corresponding fee with fine can be remitted at the treasury by May 30. The final date for online registration of candidates through the department portal from the parent school is May 31.

Kerala plus 2 SAY exam date sheet 2025

The Kerala Plus Two SAY, improvement exam 2025 will be conducted in two shifts: forenoon (FN) and afternoon (AN). Subjects without practicals are scheduled from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm and 2 pm to 4:45 pm.

Subjects with practicals, except biology and music, will take place from 9:30 am to 11:45 am and 2 pm to 4:15 pm. Biology will be conducted from 9:30 am to 11:55 am.
