Kerala University PG entrance exam 2021 rescheduled; To be held on August 1

The offline entrance test will be conducted in three cities in the state of Kerala, Trivandrum, Kozhikode and Ernakulam.
NEW DELHI: The University of Kerala has postponed the Kerala University entrance exam 2021 for postgraduate courses to August 1. The Kerala University PG entrance exam 2021 was earlier scheduled to be held on July 15.
The application window of Kerala University for PG teaching department courses was closed on June 30. The application form of Kerala University 2021 for PG teaching department programmes was released on May 3. While the application process for undergraduate and PG merit-based programmes has not begun yet.
The University of Kerala provides admissions to students in PG programmes through both the entrance exam and the academic performance in the last qualifying examination. For teaching departments, the admissions are done with the help of the Kerala University entrance examination, whereas for affiliated colleges, admissions are done on the basis of merit. The university has its own merit calculation criterion through which it releases the rank list for PG affiliated colleges programmes.
The university will also hold the Kerala University MTech entrance exam 2021 on August 1. The entrance exam of Kerala University for both MTech and PG teaching department programmes will be held in three cities, Trivandrum, Ernakulam and Kozhikode.
The total duration of the Kerala University PG entrance exam 2021 will be two hours. The offline examination will consist of both multiple-choice based and descriptive questions. There will be a total of 60 MCQs for 60 marks and descriptive type questions for 40 marks. Candidates have to attempt 8 questions out of 12 descriptive questions, each carrying five marks.
