CEE Kerala begins KMAT 2026 session 1 registration; MBA exam on Jan 25

The Commissioner for Entrance Exam (CEE) Kerala has started accepting applications for the Kerala Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2026 session 1 exam. CEE will conduct the KMAT 2026 session 1 exam on January 1. The last date for the KMAT application 2026 is January 15.

Candidates can apply for KMAT 2026 on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in/kmatonline2026, by January 15. KMAT 2026 application fee for the general category candidates is Rs 1,000, and schedule caste (SC) candidates have to pay Rs 500.

The general category and SEBC candidates who secure 10% of the total 720 marks, that is, 72 marks and above, are qualified for admission. For other category candidates, the qualifying cut-off marks is 7.5%, that is 54 marks and above.

KMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

The KMAT eligibility criteria 2026 are as follows.

  • Nationality and Nativity: Indians and non Indians are eligible to apply. Only Keralite candidates are eligible for reservation or fee concession.
  • Age: No restrictions.
  • Academic qualifications: Candidates should have completed the Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration in the field of Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management, or equivalent to satisfy the eligibility criteria for the course. Candidates who are appearing for the final year of the qualifying exam can also apply.

“Candidates should have attained the minimum marks as stipulated for admission to the MBA course by the respective Universities to which the candidate wishes to apply,” the official KMAT brochure reads.

KMAT Exam Pattern 2026

As per the KMAT marking scheme 2026, four marks are awarded for a correct answer, and for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted. The KMAT 2026 paper will be divided into four sections.
