NEW DELHI- Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala issued new guidelines which the candidates appearing for KMAT 2020 need to follow in wake of the increasing threat due to COVID19. In order to ensure that the exam is conducted in a safe manner, CEE Kerala has made it mandatory for all the candidates to wear masks and they will have to undergo thermal screening. At the same time, candidates will have to follow all other social distancing norms and instructions so as to minimise the threat posed by novel coronavirus. KMAT Kerala 2020 is scheduled to be held on June 21.
Candidates will have to carry their KMAT Kerala 2020 admit card on the day of exam. Do not reach very early to the examination centre. Candidates should reach at the exam venue on time and maintain social distance mandatory to wear mask
On the day of the exam, candidates will have to carry an extra mask, agree for the thermal screening and maintain social distance all the time. At the exam venue, authorities will give a pair of gloves, which candidates have to wear till the conclusion of entrance test
Guardians and parents are not allowed at the KMAT Kerala exam centre.
What to carry to the test centre
Candidates should carry the KMAT Kerala 2020 admit card along with a valid ID proof such as-
Aadhaar card
Voter ID
Driving License
PAN Card
What Not to carry to the test centre
Candidates should bring a few items such as stationary items (pen and pencil), water and snacks. Candidates can not share such items with anyone
Mobile phone, smart watches or any electronic items are prohibited to the examination hall
Issuance of Access Card
Prior to the examination, authorities will issue an access card which they need to keep safe as it is required to login to the allotted system (Computer). The access card will have candidates seat number, username and password. Candidates need to sit on their allotted seats, they will not be allowed to move here and there frequently. Apart from maintaining social distancing candidates need to follow all the instructions given by the invigilator. There will be only one entry point at the exam centre of KMAT Kerala
Discard the gloves before leaving the test centre
Before leaving the examination hall, candidates will have to discard their gloves and mask in the dustbin and should not litter their surrounding
Instructions for symptomatic candidates , belonging to containment or red zones candidates
They need to inform the authorities in advance that they belong to containment or red zones and they have to maintain social distancing
Such candidates will have to avoid public transport and come to the examination centre with their own vehicle
They have to sit in their allotted rooms, which must be abide by the protocols and regulations
