NEW DELHI: The University of Mysore will conduct the KSET 2021 exam on July 25, 2021. Earlier, the KSET exam was supposed to be conducted on April 11, 2021, which got postponed twice due to a coronavirus pandemic. Candidates appearing in the KSET exam 2021 must check the COVID-19 guidelines.

According to the latest announcement by the exam authority of KSET 2021, candidates need to bring the KSET admit card downloaded earlier mentioning the examination date of April 11, 2021, along with the valid photo id proof. However, students can check the KSET exam centre according to their subject and roll number in the KSET exam centre allotment list released on the official website - kset.uni-mysore.ac.in.

COVID-19 Guidelines

  • COVID-19 essentials such as a mask, personal hand sanitizer, ballpoint pen, and transparent water bottle should be carried by students.

  • At the exam centre, social distancing norms must be followed. To avoid overcrowding at the exam centre, students must reach according to their reporting time.

  • Throw used masks or napkins into the closed garbage.

  • In the examination hall, candidates are not permitted to remove their masks.

  • Use of a secure mode of transport.

  • Without the thermal checkup, no candidates will be allowed into the test room.

KSET is the state eligibility test conducted by the University of Mysore to determine the eligibility for Assistant professors/lecturers. The students who qualified the KSET exam will get an eligibility certificate and can apply at the government colleges and universities of Karnataka. Candidates need to appear for two papers. Paper I will be common for all whereas Paper II will be based on the subject chosen by students.
