KTET October 2023 registration starts tomorrow at ktet.kerala.gov.in; schedule

NEW DELHI: Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the notification for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) October 2023 session. It will open the registration window of the KTET October 2023 on the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in, tomorrow.

Candidates will be able to apply for the KTET October 2023 till November 17 by paying a non-refundable application fee of Rs 500. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories will have to pay only Rs 250 as application fee.

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan will conduct the exam on December 29 and 30. The KTET October 2023 will be conducted in two shifts on both days – shift 1 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM and shift 2 from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. Applicants will be able to download the KTET admit cards from December 20 onwards.

KTET 2023 eligibility criteria

Candidates applying for the KTET 2023 should have passed higher secondary or senior secondary exam with at least 48 per cent marks. The candidates should have also passed the Trained Teachers Certificate or Diploma in Technical Education.

The KTET October 2023 will have four papers. KTET paper 1 is held for teaching jobs in Classes 1 to 5 while Paper 2 will be for Classes 6 to 8. KTET Category 3 is for teachers aspiring to teach in Classes 9 to 12 while category 4 is for language teachers.

• Visit the official website of KTET, ktet.kerala.gov.in
• Click on the registration link and fill your details
• Now, login using the credentials and fill the application form
• Fill the application form and submit the application fee
• Download the application form for future reference.
