KVS 2018 exam begins on December 22; know more details here

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 22, 2018: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is conducting KVS 2018 exam in pen and paper-based mode on December 22 and 23. The exam is being held for the posts of PGTs, TGTs, Librarian, PRT (Music), and TGT (P&HE, AE and WE) at 36 cities across India. The exam is being conducted in three sessions – morning, afternoon and evening for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The morning session is being held from 9 am to 11:30 am while afternoon and eveing session will commence from 12:30 pm to 3 pm and 4 pm and 6:30 pm respectively.

Candidates had to carry a copy of the admit card along with one valid ID proof - Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, and voter ID card to the exam centre. The admit card and ID proof of candidates has to bear the same name as that on the admit card of KVS 2018. The admit card could be downloaded from the official website - http://kvsangathan.nic.in.   

Candidates must keep in mind that without their admit card and the required documents they are not allowed to enter the examination hall.

After the exam, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan may release KVS answer key for all the posts. The KVS result for the post of  PRT (Music), TGT (P&HE, AE and WE), PGTs, TGTs, and Librarian is expected to be declared in January 2019 in online mode. Based on the result of KVS, candidates will be shortlisted for the interview. The interview dates will be declared after the announcement of result. The final KVS result 2018 will be prepared by calculating the scores of written exam and interview.

Earlier, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has announced the KVS 2018 result for Principal & Vice Principal on November 17. The examination was held on November 3. As per the result data, 500 candidates have been qualified for Vice-Principal posts whereas 188 candidates were shortlisted for the posts of Principal. All the qualified candidates had to appear for interview which was conducted from November 29 to December 14.
