KVS 2018 result & cutoff for Principal & Vice-Principal announced; check details here

New Delhi, November 17: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has declared KVS 2018 result for Principal & Vice Principal on November 17. The result has been announced for the examination held on November 3. KVS 2018 result is available in the form of pdf file comprising the list of qualified candidates category-wise. According to the official data released, 500 candidates have been qualified for Vice-Principal posts whereas 188 candidates are shortlisted for the posts of Principal. Along with the result declaration, KVS has also announced the cutoff marks for General, OBC, ST, SC, OH, VH, HH.

The result data, as provided by the authority shows that a total of 688 candidates have been shortlisted for the posts of Principal & Vice Principal. For the posts of Principal, the cutoff marks for general category is 97, while for OBC candidates is 95. The cutoff for SC for the same post is 90 while the cutoff for ST is 85 marks. On the other hand, for the posts of Vice Principal, the cutoff marks for general category is 91 while for OBC category the cutoff is 88. The cutoff for SC for the posts of Vice-Principal is 85 while the cutoff marks for ST is 78.

Apart from result and cutoff, the examination authority has also declared the date of interview. The interview is scheduled to be held on November 29, 30 and December 3, 6 for the posts of Principal whereas for the posts of Vice-Principal, the interview will be held on December 10 and 14.

Shortlisted candidates have to download their interview call letter which will be available in due course. The interview for the aforesaid posts will be held at the venue mentioned below:

After completion of the interview process, the authority will release the final result based on the performance of candidates in the written test and interview. Post the interview procedure, the authority will also release the scorecard of KVS 2018 in online mode for the written test.

For 2018, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has announced 8339 vacancies for the posts of Principals, Vice-Principals, PGTs, TGTs, Librarians and PRTs. KVS 2018 exams for the posts of PGTs, TGTs, Librarians and PRTs are scheduled to be held on December 22 and 23 in 36 cities across the country.
