KVS, NVS Recruitment 2026: Tier 2 result out for PGT, TGT and ASO posts

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the tier 2 recruitment examination results for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). The results have been declared for selected Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and non-teaching posts.

Candidates who appeared for the tier 2 examination can check their individual result and shortlisting status, wherever applicable, by logging into their application portal using their credentials.

KVS, NVS Tier 2 Result 2026: Posts covered

The Tier-II results have been declared for the following posts:

• Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs): Biology, Commerce and Geography
• Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs): Art/Art Education and Library/Librarian
• Non-teaching post: Assistant Section Officer (ASO)

The KVS NVS tier 2 mark sheets will be made available within 15 days of the declaration of the final result, after the interview process is completed.

For posts where no interview is required, candidates can access their tier 2 marks along with the result through their respective application logins.

KVS, NVS Tier 2 Result 2026: Steps to download

Candidates can follow these steps to check their KVS, NVS Tier-II recruitment result 2026:

• Visit the official CBSE recruitment examination portal.
• Click on the link for the KVS NVS Tier 2 result 2026.
• Enter your login credentials, such as application number and password/date of birth, as required.
• Click on submit.
• Your Tier-II result or shortlisting status will appear on the screen.
• Check your shortlisting status
• Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

NVS, KVS Tier 2 Result 2026: Preference submission

Candidates who are required to submit a preference under the KVS and NVS recruitment notification can do so through the application portal. They should follow the instructions available in their login and submit their preferences within the prescribed deadline.

For posts involving an interview or skill test, the schedule and call letters will be made available through the respective candidate login after the schedule is finalised in consultation with KVS and NVS, as applicable.

CBSE said that KVS NVS tier 2 results for the remaining posts are being finalised and will be announced in phases. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official CBSE, KVS and NVS websites, along with their application login, for further updates on the recruitment process.
