New Delhi, May 20: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released the application form of LIC ADO 2019 on May 20. Aspiring candidates, between the age group of 21 to 30 and who have completed graduation in any discipline can fill the application form in online mode. Besides releasing the LIC ADO application form 2019, the officials have also revised the total number of vacancies for the post.
According to the revised vacancies, now, LIC will recruit Apprentice Development Officers (ADOs) at 8581 vacancies while earlier, the total number of vacancies was 1753. The revision in the vacancies has happened after LIC released the zone-wise vacancies and notifications. The zone-wise vacancy data reflects that 1753 vacancies are for Western Zone, 1042 for North Central Zone, 525 for Central Zone, 701 for East Central Zone, 1130 for North Zone, 922 for Eastern Zone, 1257 for Southern Zone, and 1251 for Southern Central Zone.

LIC conducts LIC ADO exam for recruiting Apprentice Development Officer. However, the exam pattern for LIC ADO is not same for all. It varies as per the post and department one is applying for. According to the exam pattern of LIC ADO 2019, candidates applying for Apprentice Development Officer from Open Market Category are needed to appear in Prelims, Mains, Interview and Pre-Recruitment Medical Test. LIC shortlists candidates, 20 times the number of vacancies in each category for appearing in the Mains exam from Prelims. However, candidates interested for Apprentice Development Officer from Agents & Employee Category have to sit for Mains examination only. They need not to take Prelims exam. But after the Mains exam, such candidates have to appear in Interview and Pre-Recruitment Medical Test.
