NEW DELHI: Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has announced on May 13 that it will conduct Class 12 board examinations from June 3.

The board will hold exams in subjects - geography and modern language - for intermediate second-year, or Class 12, on June 3.

The examinations for geography - paper 2 and modern language - paper 2 could not be held on March 23 due to the covid-19 lockdown.

The board has said that the exam will be held in the morning session from 9 am to 12 noon. The exams will be conducted at the same centres as allotted earlier.

The board has asked all the students to use the same hall tickets to attend the examination at their respective centres.

All the papers of intermediate first year except geography and modern languages were completed before March 22.

Meanwhile, the evaluation of answer scripts of the already conducted intermediate examinations has already started. About 9,202 examiners have attended the spot valuation camps at 12 places in the state, reported the Times of India.

The government had ordered all educational institutions across the country to shut down and all examinations were postponed amidst the coronavirus outbreak.

The country is under a lockdown from March 25 till May 17.
