New Delhi: In a press release dated May 25, the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) has notified that they are extending the last date to submit LSAT India 2020 applications till June 7. The council said that the decision was taken after strong interest from applicants to participate in the online LSAT India 2020 entrance exam.
“We’ve seen very strong interest in our online June LSAT—India exam that students can take in the safety of their own homes,” said Yusuf Abdul-Kareem, Vice President, LSAC.
He further added, “We think it’s so important that students be able to continue their education journeys despite the COVID-19 emergency, so we are very pleased to offer this safe and secure testing opportunity. Given the level of interest, we are extending the registration deadline so more students can take advantage of the new online format.”
It may be noted that the LSAT India exam this year will be conducted in online remote proctored mode, wherein candidates can take the exam from the safety of their homes.
LSAT India was previously conducted in pencil-and-paper mode, which became impossible to be continued after the government enforced a nation-wide lockdown in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The online LSAT India 2020 exam commences on June 14, and will be continued over multiple days. The exam will be administered using artificial intelligence-assisted remote proctoring technology, which will ensure the integrity and validity of the test.
Mock tests
After LSAT registration closes, LSAC will send registrants a link to a mock practice test that will help them understand the nuances of the online remote proctored test and prepare for taking the online exam.
