NEW DELHI: To avoid clashing with the Central Board of Secondary Education, or CBSE 2021 exam date, the Law School Admission Test, or LSAT 2021 has been rescheduled to June 14.

The change in LSAT 2021 date has been done to allow students to “adequately prepare” for both the exams. The exam will be conducted over a span of several days starting from June 14. The registration date for the LSAT India has also been extended to June 4.

Additionally, for the students willing to write the law entrance exam before the CBSE exam, LSAT—India will open an administration (or, one cycle of the exam) on March 25 2021. The registration for this session will be open from February 3 up to 14 March.

Candidates who opt for this option will be able to take the test in March and use the scores in law college applications. The Law School Admission Council has also provided the provision to take a re-test in June to improve their scores for their preferred college for admissions.

The Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had announced that CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams 2021 will be conducted from May 4 to June 10.

Early registration

Students who will register before February 12 will be given a special, discounted fee of Rs 3,499 per test for the March or June test administration.

Students registering after will have to pay the standard fee of Rs 3,799 for either administration. Students who wish to sit for the exam in both March and June cycle will be allowed to pay a discounted fee of Rs 7,300.

Further details of the schedule, as per the official statement, will be released in the coming week.
