Lucknow University opens admission to MA in Public Policy and Governance

NEW DELHI: The University of Lucknow’s Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma Institute of Democracy is inviting online applications for its postgraduate programme MA in Public Policy and Governance for the session 2022-24. Interested and eligible candidates can apply at the official website of Lucknow University - lkouniv.ac.in. The last date to submit the LU admission form 2022 for MA in Public Policy programme is June 10, 2022.

The duration of MA in Public Policy and Governance programme is two years and there are 30 seats.
Eligibility Criteria
Any graduate from a recognized university with a minimum 50% marks for general candidates and 45% for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.

- Click on the link ‘Postgraduate Programmes’ under Online Admissions 2022-23 on the homepage
- Candidates will be redirected to another page. Now click on the link ‘Online Application form for submission’.
- Read the instructions carefully and click on proceed button
- Select the programme, read eligibility criteria, and proceed further
- Fill the required details in the application form such as educational qualification
- Upload photo and signature
- Submit the application form, pay the fees and take a print out for future reference

Objectives of the programme
- Students will learn about the executive, legislative and administrative processes involved in policy making.
- Enable students to analyze and develop policies and conduct relevant research.
- To build student’s understanding of the wider economic, political, and social factors to be considered.
- To teach them about qualitative analysis/methods, policy analysis, program evaluation, management, and politics.
- To give them the opportunity to gain more knowledge in a particular field of public policy by giving options in elective papers
