NEW DELHI: The Madhya Pradesh government in a cabinet meeting today, June 28, announced several education-related initiatives. The setting up of 33 new CM Rise schools and three new medical colleges are among the various initiatives presented during Madhya Pradesh cabinet briefing today.

As per a social media post from the takeaways of the cabinet meeting today, Govind Singh Rajput, minister of revenue and transport said Rs 1,335 crore has been earmarked for the 33 new CM Rise schools in the state.

Khargone, Dhar, Bhind, Balaghat, Tikamgarh and Sidhi districts will get new medical colleges.

Madhya Pradesh CM Rise schools are equipped with digital classrooms, laboratories, libraries and high standard facilities. For the functioning of the CM Rise schools, effective training is given to teachers, school leaders, principals and vice principals. Play-theme based paintings and boards informing about value-based education are also put up in these CM Rise schools in Madhya Pradesh.
