Madhya Pradesh to rank government schools every month

NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh state education centre will release the ranking of government schools every month from Class 1 to 8. A provisional ranking of all 52 districts of the state will be issued by the centre on the basis of school education today, May 20, 2022, said a tweet from the official Twitter account of the Madhya Pradesh school education department.

"The standard of education in government schools will be even better," claims the school education department of Madhya Pradesh. According to the director of the state education centre, Dhanraju, districts will be ranked on the basis of school education. For the ranking purpose, schools will be assessed on the basis of the points they earn for the performance of responsibilities and quality of work.

The decision to rank schools has been taken following the instructions of Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to develop a ranking system for government schools and display it on the CM dashboard. The State Education Center is preparing the ranking of all 52 districts following the instructions of Chief Minister Shri @ChouhanShivraj to develop a ranking system for government schools from class I to VIII and display it in the CM Dashboard," read the tweet.

According to Dhanraju, the ranking of districts in school education will be decided by the school education department based on the works executed by the schools in all the districts from the month of May. Ranks will be assigned to each district on the basis of work and achievement, he said.
