MAH BBA CET 2025 CAP round 1 seat acceptance, reporting deadline extended till September 8

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has extended the deadline for seat acceptance and reporting under the MAH CET 2025 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) round 1 for BBA, BMS, BBM, MBA (Integrated) courses. Candidates can now complete the seat acceptance through their candidate login till September 8, 2025, up to 3 pm.

Candidates will now have to report to the allotted institute and confirm their admission by 5 pm on the same day. According to the notification, candidates who accept the allotted seat will have to submit the necessary documents and pay the prescribed admission fee of Rs 1,000 within the given timeline. MAH BBA CET 2025 seat allotment result was announced on September 2. Earlier, the last date to confirm their seat was September 6.

The allotted institute will verify the documents, upload the admission details on the online system through its login, and issue a system-generated admission confirmation receipt along with the fee payment receipt.

“Candidates who have registered as a reserved category candidate, but are unable to produce the required certificate for the reservation claim during the documents verification stage shall have to pay the difference of fee of Rs. 200/- through online mode only,” the official notice said.

The CET Cell has further stated that if it is found that a seat has been allotted on the basis of false claims in the candidate’s application, the institute will not grant admission to such a candidate. In such cases, the candidate must raise a grievance through their login.

For CAP Round 2, the provisional list of vacant seats will be displayed on September 9, 2025. The option form submission and confirmation window will be open from September 10 to 12, followed by the provisional allotment result on September 14.

MAH CET 2025 BBA Counselling: Guidelines on category change

Candidates opting to convert to the open category, non-EWS, will consider the following situations:

• If allotted a seat in CAP Round 1, 2, or 3 under the reserved category, that seat will be cancelled. Such candidates will be considered under the open category, Non-EWS in CAP round 4.
• If not availing the reserved category, EWS benefits in CAP round 1, 2, or 3, the previously allotted seat will be retained. These candidates will still be considered under the open category, non-EWS, in CAP round 4.
• If not allotted any seat up to CAP Round 3 and unable to produce valid CVC, TVC, NCL, or EWS certificates within the deadline, candidates can convert to the open category, non-EWS. They will remain eligible for CAP Round 4 under this category.
• After conversion to the open category, non-EWS candidates will only be considered for allotment in CAP Round 4 and institutional rounds under the open category, non-EWS. Once conversion is completed, candidates cannot revert to the reserved category or EWS.
