MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 application begins; Apply till February 15

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 11: Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has commenced the application process for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for MBA/MMS/PGDM admission 2019-21. The MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 application process has commenced from January 10, 2019, and the last date to apply is February 15, 2019. MAH CET 2019 will be conducted in a computer-based mode on March 9-10, 2019, in multiple sessions.

Eligibility Criteria

Let us take a look at the eligibility criteria to appear for the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 exam.

Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognised University with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent, or 45 per cent marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only.

Candidates who have appeared in the final year Bachelor’s degree exam are also eligible to apply. The candidates belonging to SC, VJ/DT (NT (A)), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), OBC SBC and SEBC categories should produce “Caste Validity Certificate” issued by Scrutiny Committee of Social Welfare Department and the Candidate belonging to ST category should submit “Tribe Validity Certificate” issued by Scrutiny Committee of Tribal Department and valid Non Creamy Layer certificate except SC, ST candidates at the time of verification of documents.

How to apply for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019

  • The application process of MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 is completely online. Candidates have to click here to register and complete the application process.

  • The next step is to click on the tab ‘Click here for new registration’ and enter the basic personal details such as name, contact details and email id. Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates will be sent the credentials through SMS and email.

  • The applicants have to enter the requisite details in each stage of the application form and click on ‘Save & Next’.

  • After completing the form, click on the Final Submit button.

  • The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

  • An e-receipt would be generated after the payment is credited in the system. Candidates have to take a print out of the receipt and preserve it. Non-generation of the e-receipt would indicate unsuccessful payment. In that case, applicants have to login again and complete the payment process.

  • Applicants have to also upload their photogrph and signature. The photograph should 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm and 200 x 230 pixels dimension. The file size should be betweem 20 KB to 50 KB.

  • The dimension of the signature is 140 x 60 pixels. The file should be between 10 KB to 20 KB.

The application fee is Rs. 1000 for General category candidates and Rs. 800 for candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, SEBC] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only.

Exam Pattern

The duration of the exam is 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. The exam pattern, structure and marking scheme is given in the below table.

Each question carries five answer options. Test takers have to choose only one option while attempting the exam. There is no negative marking scheme.
