Here is the official tweet of Uday Samant, where he informs about postponement of CET exams
COVID-19 continues to play havoc with exam schedules
The postponement of the CET exams is the latest in a series of events that can be attributed to COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown. Earlier, CET Maharashtra had extended application deadlines of almost all major exams to accommodate applicants affected by the lockdown. For example, the MHT CET 2020 and MHT CET Law applications had been extended multiple times. The original exam dates of many of these exams had also been changed multiple times.
Uncertainty looms ahead
The uncertainty doesn’t end with the assurance that new dates will be released as no one knows how the COVID-19 situation will evolve. In one interesting development, the HPTU has cancelled the state-level HP CET 2020 entrance exam on a similar pretext, which is as a safety precaution COVID-19. It will now use JEE Main 2020 scores for admission to its various engineering programs.
While it is too early to predict what lies in store for the CET exams, one fact that is certain is it has kept everyone on the tenterhooks.
