MAHA CET 5-year LLB application process to begin on Jan 28; Apply by Mar 11

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 26: The five-year LLB application form for MAHA CET 2019 will begin on January 28. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra is announcing the MH CET LLB 5-year application form after a delay of almost four weeks. Originally the MAHA CET 2019 application process for 5-year LLB admissions was to begin on January 1, 2019 which was for the second time delayed by 10 days and was scheduled to start on January 10, however, could not start.

Now for the third time in a month, the Maharashtra Government Entrance Test Cell has notified that the MH CET 5-year LLB application form will be available on January 28 in online mode. In an official notification, the State CET Cell announces, “LLB 5-years CET 2019 online application form filling link will be available from 28th of January 2019 at 11 am onwards.”

MAHA CET 5-year LLB application process

The application process of MH CET 5-year LLB admissions will begin on January 28 and end by March 11, 2019. The law applicants will need to register for MAHA CET 5-year LLB programme admissions and then fill the application form using the candidate login id and password.

The MH CET 5-year LLB applicants will also need to pay fees during the application process. According to the notification, an amount of Rs. 800 (Rs. 400 for Maharashtra State reserved category candidates) is to be paid in any of the online mode only using one of the payment options- Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards and Mobile Wallet.

The MAHA CET LLB 5-year application form needs to be submitted online only by March 11, 2019 after which no request will be entertained for further extension. Further, the application form processed any mode other than the online will be summarily rejected.

Are you eligible?

The candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria of MAHA CET 5-year LLB in order to fill the application form. According to the required academic qualifications, candidates will need to qualify their 12th board examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate of the subjects. Those who belong to the OBC, SEBC, SBC and VJNT categories will need a minimum of 42% marks and the SC/ST category candidates will need at least 40% marks to meet the MH CET 5-year LLB 2019 eligibility criteria.

MAHA CET 5-year LLB Paper Pattern

The Common Entrance Test for Maharashtra 5-year LLB programme admissions will be conducted online on April 21 as scheduled. The two-hour on-computer paper will have 150 questions divided into five sections namely English, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude and Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and Mathematical Aptitude. The questions will be provided in English and Marathi languages. Further the questions will be of objective nature with four options as answers of which the test takers will need to choose the correct one. If a candidate attempts a question correct, one (1) mark will be awarded and no marks will be deducted for any wrong attempt.

About MAHA CET 5-year LLB

MH CET 5-year LLB or MAHA CET 5-year LLB is an online (on computer) state-level examination conducted by State Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra Government for admissions to 10060 seats on offer under the five-year integrated law programmes running in 153 state-government colleges. The admissions will be conducted on the basis of MAHA CET 5-year LLB scores which are expected to be declared on May 13, 2019.
