The Maharashtra government has announced that the Class 11 admission process for the academic year 2025–26 will be held online and has urged students and parents to rely on official sources for accurate information.
The Maharashtra Government has centralised the Class 11 admission process for the academic year 2025–26, which will now be conducted entirely online across the state. The Directorate of Education (Secondary & Higher Secondary), Maharashtra, has issued a notice in this regard.
The notice urges all students, parents, and school or junior college managements to rely only on official sources for accurate information regarding the online admission process. And has cautioned against misinformation being circulated through unauthorised websites and digital platforms, including social media. “Advertisements and details related to Class 11 admissions appearing on such platforms are not to be trusted,” the statement read.

Authorities have emphasised that only the information released via the official government website should be considered valid and trustworthy. To assist with any queries related to the admission process, the state government has also provided a dedicated helpline number 8530955564 and email id support@mahafyjcadmissions.in .
Centralised Process to Ease Admissions
The centralised process is currently applicable to five urban areas: the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, Amravati, Nagpur, and Nashik. This Common Admission Process (CAP) round system has been implemented to simplify Class 11 admissions across Maharashtra.
The initiative aims to reduce complexities and time spent on traditional admission methods, ensuring a fair and transparent system.
For Class 11 admissions, four CAP rounds will be conducted. After these rounds, any remaining seats will be converted to open category to avoid vacancies. The entire process will be carried out online through the official website: https://mahafyjcadmissions.in
