Maharashtra FYJC Admissions 2026: Class 11 registrations cross 6.99 lakh; deadline extended till SSC result

A total of 6.99 lakh students have registered for Class 11 Part 1 admissions. Following a strong response from students across the state, the Directorate of Education, Maharashtra, has extended the registration deadline for Class 11 (FYJC) Part 1 till the declaration of the State Board (SSC) results.

According to the official statement, a total of 6,99,566 students have completed the Maharashtra Class 11 Part-1 registration process between April 10 and 30, 2026.

Out of the total registrations, 3,38,406 are female students, 3,30,251 are male students, and 27,097 students have not mentioned their gender. This indicates a slightly higher participation of female students in the FYJC admission process this year.

The Maharashtra FYJC data also shows that 2,33,394 students have completed the payment process so far. Among regions, Mumbai and Pune have reported a high number of paid applications, indicating strong participation in urban centres.

The department said that the revised schedule for further rounds of the centralised admission process will be released after the SSC results are declared.

After the SSC results are declared, the department will release the complete admission schedule for Class 11, including merit lists, choice filling, and seat allotment rounds. The online admission process covers junior colleges in major cities like Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, and others.
