Maharashtra Class 11 Admissions 2025: The state government has increased the scope for 10% in-house quota to include school-run by the same educational organisation in a particular district. The last date to apply for round 1 Maharashtra FYJC admissions 2025 is June 3 up to 4 pm on the official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in.

Additionally, the Mumbai city, suburbs and Thane districts will be considered one unit for this purpose. Until now, this quota was only meant for the students at the schools sharing the campus with their junior colleges (senior secondary sections).

As per the earlier policy, students were eligible to apply for in-house quota if their schools had junior college. Students of schools outside the premises of a junior college, even if their management is the same, are not eligible for this quota. Reportedly, some schools in most cities belong to the same management due to space constraints.

Such students are required to first select their academic stream, then filter junior colleges using criteria like medium, district, management type, and college name. They are also given an option to narrow down choices by area, block, taluka, college type, UDISE code, or bifocal subject.

Maharashtra FYJC admissions: What is in-house quota?

The eligibility criteria to apply under the Intra Institutional Quota or in-house quota for Maharashtra FYJC Class 11 admissions 2025 is given below.

  • All Junior Colleges will have 10% seats reserved. If the educational institute has no secondary school of Class 10, they will not have such inhouse quota. However, this criterion has been tweaked now.
  • Students from schools outside the premises having the same management will also be eligible to apply now.
  • Students who have passed Class 10 from secondary school (within the same premises) of the same management who run Junior Colleges are eligible for In-house quota admission in those junior colleges.
  • Junior colleges can fill in-house quota seats till the end of regular round-2 only and thereafter vacant seats should be surrendered.
  • 50% in-house quota will be in government schools and local government schools.
